Good setting for some nasty bass riffs right there!
If the bottom-end on your guitar is a bit too thick, wind up the Drive/EQ control to about 1-o'clock and back off the Amp Gain to around noon (or run it high for plenty of dirt).

Yeah, it cuts bass as you wind the Drive up, amplifying what remains. I build a pedal based on the same core topology, but with a lot more controls. It's killer on bass, IMO, but definitely not simple. Another good 2-knob guitar pedal that's good on bass is the Red Llama.

Love it!
The DOD-250 has a lot of potential as a bass drive because when Drive is all the way down (as you have it), a lot of bass freqs come through.
But its potential is kind of locked up because you can't adjust the distortion at the EQ you like.
