I've been seeing this headline floating around. To be clear:

1) This is "No. 1" on a miniscule chart, The "Country Digital Song Sales" chart, as in people actually paying money to download country songs which is a tiny amount of people

2) The actual consumers are almost certainly fake

Out of curiosity, how often are you all backing up your work to a separate, physical drive. Mine goes to a USB stick about once a week.

Wow. $360,000 in legal fees and damages that Kim Davis has to pay to the couple she denied a marriage licence.

Ouchies.

Editing my current novel. That's always fun. Someone with better knowledge of grammar than you pointing out all your little mistakes.

Do you spend all your time in one location? Remember to occasionally refer to somewhere else. Have something important happen there. Unless there is nowhere else in your world.

Perhaps they were meant to be a sidekick, perhaps the villains subordinate, a passing love interest. Have you ever had to delete an entire character because they just weren't working? (Character merges count).

Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.

Here's how to turn it off.

I'm sorry, but when you lose by 13 points, contesting the election is not really an option. Republicans spent yesterday spreading lies about the election. We will see more of it in the days and weeks ahead as the margin of victory fades from our memory. 2026 will be a real test of our democracy.
A good sign we shouldn't overlook from yesterday's elections: the losing candidates, largely Republicans, seem to have accepted their losses. A nice change from Trump.

Sometimes I think about how Mitt Romney voted to impeach Trump twice. Then he retired from politics in 2023, and while I have no particular insight as to why, I like to think it's because he decided the Republican party was too noxious and full of turds to remain.
