I bet he blamed himself more than anything because he did something that Charlie wouldn't like. My guess is he was too focused on her hating him that he just needed to get reassurance before he could deal with the physical injuries

Imagine if season 3 is about Charlie trying to get her parents together and the whole time Lilith knows about Lu and Al. She and Lucifer are trying to be polite but Alastor says "Fuck that, he's mine" and Charlie thinks he's fighting against her 🤣 Vaggi has a staff meeting about how to break news

That's fair, but it's also fair that there were a lot of reasons this season to be frustrated with Charlie's characterization, and it's okay to want to discuss that. Lucifer's also not putting up with anything on account of being a character. It's okay for fans to have opinions on cartoon characters

I fully accept that my disappointment in Lucifer's treatment at the end of ep8 comes strictly from my bias for him. He's my favorite character and I want more of him, and I'm sad that we don't get to see his side of things, but he's also a side character at the end of the day 🥺

I agree, it felt out of place. At first I thought I was being biased because Lucifer is my favorite character, but it really is weird how little she cares about him here. I've seen the argument that she had a lot going on at the time, but cradled Emily after being hit, and she can't even help him up
