Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Code Change Hearing City Councilmember Otto Beatty will host a public hearing to discuss a proposed expansion of the city code to allow for accessory dwelling units (ADUs) in residential districts. This policy would allow homeowners to more easily add ADUs to their property to accommodate aging parents and other relatives, rental tenants and more. Those interested in testifying should email their remarks to Leah Boyd at LSBoyd@columbus.gov by 12 p.m. on the day of the hearing with "September 10th Hearing Testimony" in the subject line. Comments will be limited to three minutes.
