At the time, no, as I’m looking between the back of the camera and the sky. The sensor sees more than the eye depending on exposure. but If it is dark enough and you give your eyes time to adjust, like a couple of hours to be properly adjusted, then you could see the stars as they are in the photo.

Well kind of both really… it’s is my most recent, but that was 18months ago… I haven’t picked up the camera since… life getting in the way generally… I hope to get back out there soon.. feeling inspired by the responses…

Just up the road from Kenmore, near Loch Tay, in Scotland... its a small fishery loch up in the hills near there..
