This is an excellent point from @amylawrence.bsky.social and from personal experience, this is true for life in general. This performance and win against the Kings of Europe surely breaks any mental block and gives Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal the belief that this is where they belong.

There is no place for threats/abuse and glad to see that investigations have commenced. While we are at it, can we start a parallel investigation into the incompetent decisions made by the match officials. Sadly, this is not the first time players, managers and fans of all clubs are affected.

As frustrating this season has been but concluding that Arteta has failed is far too reactionary. Sure the summer recruitment can be questioned but Arsenal gambled on their fittest players not getting injured and prioritised cover for the injury prone players.
