We had some extra help in the fields yesterday as Sagan joined us. The result? 26 Kilos of tea harvested - 57.2 lbs! 😲 This will have us very busy in the tea shack over the next few days processing more Black tea. 🌱

Were it all started for us. We had open land and we bought 6 tea plants off Amazon. If any survived, we would look into tea growing. Had 2 left, marched into the MSU Extension Office and said, "Don't think we are crazy, we want to grow tea." Then 60,000 plants were ordered, and the rest is history.

This is our friends at the MSU who have a tea farm for research. They had some wild weather that shredded their tea plants. Their Harvester was tossed around. The tea was going to be harvested and sent to us for processing for research. But that will have to wait. The tea plants will recover.
