I kinda agree with this. Those early shows are still my favorites and I also reference them all the time, insufferably no doubt.
Newer ones don't have the same magic and organised, genius chaos. However we still quote this about pointless situations in our house ahaha.

Trying to work out which is worse. Eurogamer's (just deleted) post about stealing art where the post itself uses AI art OR that going onto their site to see if it was real brings up a pop up where you have to pay to remove ad targeting.

This evening's progress. A game board to help set the land and sea Tiles and Suit Tokens. This is ready for a boat load of testing now. Lots of upgraded placeholder art to continue on with too. So happy with this thing so far. Thank you all for the encouragement.

Some tester playing cards have arrived to make playing more "real". Also here's another iteration of the scoring board, used for weather prediction (guessing tricks won) and tracking multiple rounds. Will do some more balancing of the predictions after more tests.

Land will be themed on the town of Tobermory itself, its shops and surrounds. Each tile quite game changing (tho one or two don't change anything). Sea the same, some effects more chaotic than others. There's two tiles that swap the highest/lowest and act as if going into sea or returning to land.

It's a trick-taker where:
* You draw tiles with modifiers on them
* On land, highest card wins. At sea, lowest does
