I did recently play both of the N64 Castlevanias, since the first had my interest for a long time (I saw it in Nintendo Power). They're pretty interesting, I like the ambience.

Actually, I think the reasons I shortened it to Ruki were
a) Most people already shortened it that way
b) I realized my Twitter posts were ending up in the search results for the Bomberman character, who's already relatively obscure

I still think it's funny how Noah started as my leadersona and accidentally got named after myself.

I felt like Noah was a good name for him, and then one day I realized - "Ruki" comes from "Rukifellth," a character in Bomberman 64: The Second Attack whose ship is the Warship Noah.

That song's pretty cool! I haven't played that one.

I've actually never owned a Sega console, even though I love some of the soundtracks and controllers. Streets of Rage 3's and The Adventures of Batman & Robin's are so gritty and abrasive sounding, I love it.

i have at least three videos about the dragon's den theme

i love how dissonant it sounds, i even tried to recreate one of the instruments in the synth1 vst (using a detuned 5th saw kind of thing)

My guesses were that Absol's horn looks like a crescent moon, snow kinda feels like "night weather," Mawile is mostly found in caves, and Porygon-Z is computer related

Now I'm imagining Mawile blasting Nine Inch Nails, though.

now what could this be?

I'm pretty curious what gave you that impression now, it sounds really interesting. I can kinda see it in most of the Pokemon, with Volcarona being like the morning sun.
