Part of me wonders whether, for the sake of usability, there should be tonus peregrinus Magnificat antiphons year-round, since it's not a difficult tone for congregations to learn, and it's right there in Hymnal 1982.

There are so many After Pentecost collects that would be perfect for this, not least among them this week’s.

That’s my gut reaction, too. Even if they introduce a little bit of weekly seasonality to the weeks after Pentecost, especially when they connect with the lectionary somehow, they’re nevertheless edifying and good and, here 35 years later, aren’t we all praying these collects daily now?

I'm convinced that LilyPond is the future for me, somehow, in this project. It's hard. I can see that the spacing is ridiculous. I'll get better.

Mahler’s 3rd is the one that hooked me at age 17, but that’s an impressionable age, and I now appreciate that generally speaking, Mahler’s symphonies aren’t all that accessible. (Besides, now his 8th is my favorite.)

I like the Every Moment Holy prayers and had no idea this journal existed. Thank you.

Closest I ever found to this was Sacred Ordinary Days, which seems to have closed up shop

I haven’t come across recordings of Salisbury Antiphoner chants out in the wild, but most of them seem to be based on Latin antiphons from the Liber Usualis, which are probably easier to find in resources such as the Neumz app.

...and not infrequently, my priest preaches on the Psalm, so who knows!

We are fixing to chant every verse of it!

I really like seeing ministries like this in the Metroplex, especially with such visibility.

Pp. 275 and 282 articulate a practice of using reserve sacrament from Maundy Thursday on Good Friday. Maybe there are other instances?
