Bit of a side note but The Darkness 1 had one of my favourite ever depictions of hell: infinite World War 1. An immesurable labyrinth of trenches. Undying enemy soldiers always pushing towards you. The scale and futility of it was, at the time, mind-blowing.

I never used to believe in the kind of media bias that many Indyposters seem to believe in but fucking hell the Covid lockdowns were awful when England were boo-hooing about not being able to lick each other at pool orgies while us Scots couldn't leave our houses at all.
