Back when I was a kid, the local rock station in Boise did a thing every year called #Rocktober where each day they'd count down the audience's most voted favorite rock albums. I kinda miss that, so I'm gonna do my own version, starting here and now, of my most listened to albums of the last year.

Number 23 is 2021's Death by Rock and Roll from The Pretty Reckless. An album born from grief after the untimely death of their producer. My standout track has to be Witches Burn, a perfect example of supporting women's rights AND wrongs.

Number 24 is 1991's Slow, Deep and Hard from Type O Negative. Their debut and more like Carnivore than what TON would eventually sound like, this is still a great album. My standout track has to be my favorite song of all time, Gravitational Constant.

Number 25 is 2019's Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines OST from Rik Schaffer. The key to the atmosphere of what I consider the greatest game ever made. My standout track absolutely has to be that iconic Main Theme.

In at number 26 is 2023's Baldur's Gate 3 OST by Borislav Slavov. Good music, good memories, great game, the soundtrack is an enjoyable listen. My standout track is, of course, Raphael's Final Act.

Been to Chicago once. A couple hour stop via Greyhound, I went outside to smoke a cigarette and a guy sold me fake weed in an alley behind the bus station. 10/10 would recommend.

Coming in at number 27 is 1986's November-Coming-Fire from Samhain. What else do I need to say? One of the greatest albums ever fucking made. My standout track is Mother of Mercy, because it just is.
