Create you own story.
Select a castle, a sidekick and a princess to rescue.
Survive an enemy ambush.
Have a friendly (almost) duel.

I think it's about time I'll publish some roadmap for Guards vs Goats with some dates and milestones.

TLDR:
Early access with levels 1 to 7 coming up on mid October 2025.
Full release around (plus/minus) Christmas 2025.

1. You might actually like it an polish it.
2. It can be one of those "bad but good" cult games.
3. It can be a major flop. Well... sometimes your best intentions and efforts might go that way too...

Complicated and janky doesn't necessarily mean 'bad'.
Complicated? Some players actually like it. Depends on what is complicated.
There are some really fun games with janky controls while there are some very polished games which are... just not fun.
