A herd of Rhabdodon moves through the forest in its search for food. It is a fairly generalist herbivore that does not hesitate to feed on almost any kind of low vegetation. Its relatively large size requires a higher consumption, which makes it less selective than its smaller thin-snouted relatives

Night falls in a forest at the end of the Jurassic, and a group of Eousdryosaurus leave their daytime shelter to begin their period of activity. Small and defenseless, this ornithopod has acquired nocturnal habits, where, sheltered by the darkness, its large eyes allow it to monitor its surroundings

Unexpected find when night walking. 2 Motoro stingrays (Potamotrygon motoro) in a narrow, shallow drain no more than 20cm (8”) wide. A beautiful and fascinating fish. The invasive Motoro is native to the Amazon River but was released here in Singapore by hobbyists.

Today, I was seeing a lot of things that were quite upsetting for me.

Could you all show me there is still humanity?

Show me something you made.

Art, doodles, food, music, crafts, whatever. Whatever skill you are at it, show me! You are amazing for making things.

For a small country, Wales has a surprising number of very, very cool dinosaurs.

Pendraig milnerae (Pendraig = “chief dragon” in Welsh) was discovered in 1952, not far from where I live, but only named in 2021 after being re-discovered in storage by Angela Milner and Susannah Maidment.

From Late Pleistocene Channel Islands, the pygmy mammoth decends from the Columbian mammoths who colonized the channel Islands. Around 2 meters tall at the shoulder, they became extinct as a result of envoirmental changes and the arrival of humans

Not exactly a dinosaur this time, but a yawning Inostrancevia.

It's tiring being top predator.
