I've enjoyed all the discs in that series; Chauvin is a really good fiddler with great backup, and the music goes without saying...🤠

Died in 1762. Right up my alley, but I'll confess, I never heard of him either. New Grove compares him to Georg Monn and maybe Hasse. I'll surely check him out, 👍

Yes, I meant that, many of these Trio Sonatas and Quadros they wrote for public performance, I think they were just more progressive than with Court music. Much like Haydn's string quartets, which he decidedly didn't write for the Prince! I am delighted to have discovered this album (& Dresden too)🤠

I would infer then, that if I downloaded to my Samsung tablet that I would encounter similar irritants. My Windows app has been updated a couple of times recently, I found it notably improved yesterday. One hopes it will be perfect soon. 😉🤠
