I once made a short video explaining and demonstrating how to use a specific, single paint called Starship Filth to do weathering effects. It was titled "Weathering with Starship Filth paint".
SO MANY people dm'ed me asking "Which paint did you use?" that I eventually took it down in despair.

Clearing the jam-packed full of crap spare room is finished and my new tiny, tiny "recording studio" is complete! Plus I gained enough shelf space to house my entire model kit stash (behind the camera) and to even display finished builds.

So yesterday I took a car load of stuff to the local recycling centre. And...somehow came back with a ANOTHER vintage 1960s/1970s #typewriter (a #Bulgarian portable #Impex Maria, possibly a Princess, in pistachio colour).

It's still light-years ahead of our A-levels. We had no idea about quantum mechanics, the standard model, thermodynamics or even the universe in general. All we got was static, lightbulbs and the Kings & Queens of England.

Damn, I lived through the wrong timeline. My 1980's secondary physics was crap - we made simple circuits, learned the very basics of electromagnetism and fucked about with acrylic rods - that was pretty much it. No quantum mechanics, cosmology, particle physics or anything like that. I am sad.

I started out recording music on a Tascam 388 1/4 inch reel-to-reel studio unit back in the 80s. Weighed a ton, size of a house. My new rig, the Model 12, is (to me) a 388 with an SD card instead of reels, weighs little and would probably fit *inside* the tape bay of a 388.
