Refugee from the #deadbird, but have missed the people I regularly follow there. With grown ups back in charge in the UK, was hoping to enjoy cat videos... and then the US elections happened. Still a proud EUropean

Nigel Farage accused of false claims on sex attacks at Reform rally in Falkirk
Cops said the Reform chief's claims of 'three serious sexual assaults in Falkirk in the last week' - used to criticise asylum seekers - were inaccurate.

Confirming what we knew already - Boris Johnson was a disastrous Prime Minister who should never hold public office again!

My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’
This is so disgusting.

The LP needs her back, however I feel the usual suspects will be ready to unleash their attack dogs so she needs to make sure there's nothing they can throw at her.
Asked if [Angela Rayner] would return to cabinet, the PM said: “Yes. She’s hugely talented.”

Could be months or years. But looks likely to happen one day.

However, you can be certain there are many people staying quite over storeis like this - but as soon as she's back will kick up a huge fuss!

‘What’s going on?’ asks Laura Kuenssberg - suddenly fired up with Labour.
Funny how that energy was missing during 14 years of Tory rule.

So the real question:
Where were you then, Laura?
Your scrutiny felt absent, and Boris Johnson, whom you once called ‘gifted politician’, never got this heat.

Labour are committed to getting some money back. But I want to see measures put in place to stop corruption in our future Governments. Tax Payers should be protected from incompetence and wilful theft from people in power.

No Reform representative on the Laura Kuenssberg show for two weeks running - that's a record! It's almost as though we didn't want to talk about the 28 witnesses to my teenage racism and antisemic abuse.

Rory Stewart trying to defend Nigel Farage... There goes my respect. I'm far from judgemental, and I'd be prepared to admit that everyone has voiced regrettable things when they were younger, but saying "H*tl*r was right" is not something silly you say as a teenager that we can just put down to age.

It's lazy. In the same way Chris Mason was busily giving us all his 'take' on whether Reeves lied. Apart from the papers and their X feeds I don't think either of them bother to actually do the hard yards and actually talk to people outside of politics.
What sort of reporting is this? 'Good news'?

The same MSM widely blowing smoke up Farage’s arse are precisely the same ones coming for Labour with everything they’ve got - because this is the most progressive government we’ve had in generations. And they are delivering. This terrifies the right: With. Everything. They’ve. Got.
