We've been lucky enough to do a couple of them now, but there are some other ones in London proper that have also been pretty good, if not quite as huge.

And the getting-kids-reading issue is an easy fix... Just tell them they aren't allowed to 😜

In my experience MCM is better just through sheer size - even a tiny portion of the attendees showing interest is still a lot of people because it's 3 days of constant footfall.

Obviously I'm only one example, but the only cons we've done well at so far have been the big London ones.
