It's long overdue. Trump is finally making Canadians think about Canada first, instead of how we can keep Canadian benefits but basically be North North Dakota.

Canada needs good trade & diplomatic relations with the US, but we should never kiss US arse. Our lips have been puckered for too long.

Thanks :) That is way sexier than mine, I just have the basics... but the telescope is similar (celestron Nextar 8i, and it's f10 if I recall correctly).

This gives me some stuff to research. When I retire in the next few years, it's a hobby I want to spend more time with.

They don't want to leave Canada any more than Quebec separatists do. What they want is All The Benefits Of Being Canadian (tm) with none of the responsibilities or accountabilities. That's it. They want our money and handouts, but not the laws and taxes that go with them.

what equipment/settings did you use. I have an 8" telescope, and a Nikon D7200 and the T-mount, but I appear to suck at astrophotography :)

Canadian here... Look USA, we get it. In Canada, most of our voting options suck. It's been like that for decades.

Sometimes, one option sucks way, way more than the others. When that happens, you bite the bullet and vote for the less shitty candidate. That's your job. You don't wave it off.

Seriously, I've moved most of my data out of easy reach of the USA and rearranged travel to even avoid US airspace to the greatest practical extent.
