I’m planning a party for a few weeks from now, I will give this a shot! Thank you for the recipe!

This has never occurs to me but that looks fantastic and I will be stealing this! Thank you!

I haven't heard someone call it that in forever, but those folks are a thing.

Good way of putting it. Every time I try to go to a Mac I discover none of my apps work on it 🙄 I tried this summer, $3.5k and sent it back in 3 days. All my apps with Mac versions, the Mac version is either too slow or crashes constantly.

Mine will take like… 15? 20? minutes of vigorous walking to realize I’m on a walk 😂😂😂 Apple makes nice products but “it just works” has *never* been true for me in anything, and I have been using them since the IIe days 🙄

I used to work support for tape drives and NAS from A Well Known Vendor. Had enough grown adults sobbing - literally - on that phone to trust them too much. But I like having both cloud and local when possible.

Now I feel like I need to play Silent Hill to compare? Makes me wonder about that radio? 😂

But it will ALWAYS do this if you are wearing lifting straps while deadlifting. Or riding a motorcycle with wrists flexed. I ended up having to turning my Apple Watch around to put crown up on my wrist, it was so oversensitive to this issue.

My friend who recommends this game to me recommended Dark Souls to me, which is a game I loathed, it was basically the same thing. All the "difficulty" came from broken camera and shoddy controls. So now I don't trust any of their recs.

Not many companies are pro-union, period. If they were pro-union, we probably wouldn't need unions in the first place!

At what point does the left internalize that right wing voters don't want these things, or many other things that we view as helpful or beneficial to them? And to them, this isn't "being sold out" it's "this is what we elected you to do"?

I used to agree with that, but not anymore. They, as well as many other media outlets I used to respect, have gone in a direction, with a particular way of doing it, that I really disagree with and don't like in the slightest. Which... personal opinion.

I don't know UK politics, but I know here in the US, any "emergency" that allows for a tax cut magically lasts as long as the voters like the tax cut, which is usually "forever".

Go to a bank where the teams are paid near the low end of the scale, they have legacy code going back to the 50's to implement workflow that was patterned on Pony Express (like ACH), where every change impacts 5+ other groups and a typo can mangle $100m. You might see things differently.

Different projects require different methodologies. And different teams, skill sets, etc. Buy-in from the business. The right business model. Blah blah blah.

The gulf between a good pecan pie and a bad one is greater than just about any other pie I've had. Bad pecan pie is nearly inedible, good pecan pie is a marvelous delight. Unfortunately, bad pecan pie abounds; I've only had a good one a few times in my life.

I think this is the first I've come across him and noticed. Looking at his posts from today, I understand why people think he deserves to be yelled at. He also CLEARLY likes to egg people on. He's with The Atlantic, so right there I'm inclined to disregard if not disrespect him.

Didn't happen for me... I legit get happier the older I get, and while I often feel tired, it's simply because I stay up way too late most nights, but I've always been a night owl 🤷
