The project format is easily adaptable for other institutions and subject areas, we hope, and is also a great way to get to know your students, enhance engagement with wider academic services, and also get some transnational education in along the way 🌏 3/

What started as an experience gap 'filler' due to COVID naturally evolved into a wider academic and professional skill boosting experience for our bioscience students, 89 of whom have completed the project to date and boosted their skills, confidence and networks 📈 2/

A4. The most important role of all! They’re generations apart from us so can inform us on what does/doesn’t work, current trends, etc. Students as co-creators should be the standard. #LTHEchat

A3. Try to break down potential barriers - provide ideas, examples, starter kits etc. Help them to recognise games are just like other learning materials - just because they are also more fun doesn’t mean they’re any less beneficial. #LTHEchat

A2. Keep it simple but factor in ways to make them more “difficult” so as to ensure learners of all levels can still participate. #LTHEchat
