Speculations welcome—in haiku form or otherwise. I’m baffled 🤔🔎

I don’t know, but I’d like to. Maybe one of the Japanese translators on Bsky #haiku will know.

Here are a few other books in the Peter Pauper Press collection. There were at least 4 series from 1955 through 1962.

Maybe you can find more volumes at Thriftbboks or an old books dealer. Happy hunting!

Love these two haiku together. Both ring true in my experience. My dog gets an extra ear rub today. 🥰

I’ve learned not to sit in the sun if I hope to get anything accomplished.😉

That’s more like what I’m used to seeing. 😀 We may learn something new about chicory flowers today. Google had this to say:

Usually my dianthus bloom in cool spring and fall. This one planted by a grandchild years ago is in bloom today.

When the Venetian blind is down, we adjust the slant of the slats to give him maximum sunshine as the sun passes over the house. Not spoiled, just old and deserving.😉🥲

#bloomscrolling is therapeutic. My flower photos can’t compete with yours, but they want to be helpful so here you are. Hope you feel better soon.

Some days are dry like that. When it happens to me I turn to nature, music, or go #bloomscrolling on Bluesky. My daughter takes pictures of the sky or takes a dawn walk by the river when she gets the chance.

Katharyn Chamberlin Daniel, a teacher in Arkansas, has created a new haiga:

Catching sips of light
through slowly shifting shadows:
we have matching goals.

This is what casual scrollersby see. The clever contrast and comment aren’t immediately visible.

Katharyn Chamberlin Daniel (an American teacher) expressed her mood this morning in this haiga:

quietly dripping
facing the rising light
shadows shrink behind
