Amnesty International released findings from its investigation into the Everglades Concentration Camp (Alligator Alcatraz), which was built by the Florida Division of Emergency Management.

They found evidence of torture, among other human rights violations.

And the fact that OU has been cowed into suspending a professor who had the barest of academic standards is TERRIFYING because the theocracy is billowing at an increasingly rapid rate and our collective standards are all at risk.

The future of our leadership for the next generations are at risk.

I wrote this piece because I only learned about pelvic floors a few years ago, despite having had one all my life. And then it turned out to be where I store all my issues. And then that turned out to be true for a lot of people www.wired.com/story/the-pe...
The Pelvic Floor Is a Problem
Everyone’s suddenly obsessed with the pelvic floor—physical therapists, MAHA influencers, me. Could this deeply misunderstood body part really be the seat of so much modern dysfunction?

Christian nationalists thought they were hastening the Rapture with their votes, but instead they may have triggered America's Fifth Great Awakening--Social Justice Edition.
NEW: For Rev. David Black, the pastor seen shot in the head w/pepper balls by DHS agents in a viral clip, protesting ICE is part of an old Christian tradition.

“I’m seeing almost a revival of Christianity through what’s happening at Broadview in Chicago,” he says. religionnews.com/2025/11/19/f...

The move that perfectly describes America under Trump: Elon Musk alone will make make more money than every elementary school teacher in the country, combined. Boundless avarice, as the pope says. www.independent.co.uk/news/world/a...

Approaching 3 hours since Katie was cuffed and taken by masked federal agents while peacefully protesting and filming today and our lawyers still can’t get anyone to tell us where they actually took her.

Fucking absurd.

On January 6, 2021, Donald Trump attempted to reject the popular will and install himself as dictator, overthrowing the US government and destroying the constitution. On January 20, 2025, with the assistance of the inaction and fecklessness of the opposition, he succeeded.
This whole NYT account about the weaponization of DOJ is beyond disturbing. Kinda feels like the US government fell in January.

This reminds me of that time when Lord Byron tried that shit, and Mary Shelley's response was to lock herself in a room and invent an entire new genre of fiction, just to avoid having to deal with the fuckboi.

And Obama didn't lead directly to Trump. Pathological lying bigotry is what lead to trump. It's like y'all blame Oprah for Dr Phil and Dr oz. Blame the actual person, and stop using the black person as the reason for everything bad

This memo justifying Trump's boat murders is ugly stuff. DOJ lawyers take the White House's version of reality as gospel and use that as the basis for their case.

But note what the memo says about future prosecutions of people carrying out these orders. It's a tell:

A word of caution about the new Axios report that Dem Senators are caving. Remember the NYT ran articles for months claiming that Harvard was caving, which.. never happened. Turns out their anonymous sources were Trump staffers. Axios may be similar.

But, it never hurts to call your Senator.
1/
Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office.

If you're represented by one of the squishier centrists, be sure to make a call. Now.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
