On February 20, we hosted our annual Winter Lecture, “The Intoxication of Killing: Alcohol, Masculinity, and Mass Murder in Nazi Germany.” We welcomed Ed Westermann, who explored how alcohol consumption served as a literal and metaphorical lubricant in the Holocaust.
