Well, I mean, they aren’t wearing pads. Not to argue for shitty NFL tackling, it’s just “by any means necessary” when in full armor. Unless you are the QB, or you are a defenseless receiver, or you pull on the facemask, or a horse collar, or a hip drop. Don’t chop block either. But other than that..

I’ve been noticing a lot of Aiden Hutchinson lately. The biggest saga in the off season involved Parsons and there was plenty of coverage.
I’d counter that it has always been this way. The offensive side of the game lends itself to more individual performance where defense is codependent.

I keep telling people, it’s just a tool. The computer didn’t take your job, the internet didn’t take your job, AI won’t take your job. Not knowing how to use the tools being implemented in the real world will lose you your job.
