Living wage? What of the laughing wage. How much is the loving wage. Tell me that

This is a story more compelling than all the prequels put together

Helped my brother buy a new car today and this was the only decoration the salesman had on the desk.

Also it's not half as horny as you'd expect. I appreciate this lady's work and she has a nice voice. But. There's something just slightly wrong, slightly sad coming off the screen here. Its existence speaks to the fact that loneliness has been a profitable business for a long time

It's clearly a port of a CD-ROM multimedia thing intended for home computers. A collection of interviews, photos, music videos etc. Its cutesy UI elements make me miss CD-ROM as its own format/experience. Did that fad fail or did it just finish?

I promise (myself) that I won't try to talk about every game, but the very next one on the list, Chisato Moritaka Watarase Bashi and Lala Sunshine, has me kind of compelled.

I like to ask myself, when I play these games, how they would have hit me in the mid/late nineties. And damn, this puzzle game and this little cartoon girl could have been my whole world when I was a kid.

Surprisingly fun: Chibi Maruko chan no Taisen Puzzledama! It's like puyo puyo but with this girl (from a manga I'd never heard of) and little dancing bunnies. I am realizing on this journey that I am a total sucker for falling object puzzle stuff

I'm not calling for a Butlerian anything man I just think we should destroy any artificial assistant more complex than the 1984 Tomy Omnibot
Little plastic helper robot with a tray, like a plastic drink tray to literally serve man

When I see a movie with absolutely nothing to recommend it except the presence of Michelle Yeoh: Dude you GOTTA see this!!!!

Definitely worth playing: Chaos Control Remix! A bit Panzer Dragoon-y, without the captivating hints of lore but with first-person swooping full motion video backgrounds. Apparently it is very short which must suck if you're good at shooters

Didn't tag you in this years ago, so I don't know if you ever saw it
"Gonna introduce a bunch of unsuspecting people to For the Queen"

It's a bearded guy named Alex looking pensively at a deck of For the Queen cards in a standard Nerd House with Nerd Shit everywhere A tweet from the now-defunct Roleplay Retcon Twitter, replying to the previous post, that says "Just heard the For the Queen "OOoooOooOO" from the kitchen"

I'm also a huge fan of @amyhuang.bsky.social's Brave the Dreamer, which is about people who went to a fantasy land as children, connect on an Internet forum as teens, and then go their separate ways as adults. Melancholy, nostalgic, beautiful. chromegarden.itch.io/brave-the-dr...

Jenn also has a very cool game based on For the Queen called Dead After Dinner - it's a great example of nudging the complexity of FtQ up a bit (you have one stat, can customize the deck a little) in a way that, imo, invites further hacking :) jennmartin.itch.io/dead-after-d...
