I wrote about @mariahblake.bsky.social eye-opening new book for the @nucleartimes.bsky.social It reveals how forever chemicals we live with today are another deadly byproduct of the atomic bomb. She leaves no doubt that the scientists and government were well aware of the danger they had unleashed.
Manhattan Project chemists and military brass knew the “miracle” compound they created was killing crops, crippling cows and accumulating in our blood stream. Instead of warning the public they took jobs at 3M and DuPont and spread the chemical into everyone’s home.
