This was the tail end of the days when you could get slippered by a teacher for bad behaviour but he wasn't the teacher who even did that, that was the PE teacher, who once winked at me in the changing room showers and also lost his temper and got into a *serious* wrestling match with my mate

Mr Marshall, we all really liked him at the time cos he was funny but actually his behaviour would have got him arrested these days for physically assaulting the children under his care. (pulling cheeky kids up by the sideburns, crushing their forearms with his man-strength whilst admonishing them)
