At a city council meeting in February the mayor of Lancaster, CA, Rex Parris, responded to a community member who was unhappy with the leader’s ideas about putting the town’s homeless population into encampments by saying, “I want to give them all the free fentanyl they want. That’s what I want.”

I’m Michael Nolan, a counselor, case manager, and community health worker in Atlanta, Georgia. I got tired of trying to find a podcast that talked about homelessness with language that everyone can understand.
