I also like to model things in blender despite being a total noob, like seriously rubbish things.

We have to relearn to enjoy creating for ourselves rather than for social media / profit.

Either way I wish you all the best, may you kick burnout's butt one day!

And if you want to draw something - even if it's out of your comfort zone - just do it. Even if no one but you cares for it. Something is better than nothing.

And don't try to rush through burnout either, that simply doesn't work. You can't fight through it. Give yourself time, no matter how long it takes. You have plenty of time.

And you can't truly feel good mentally if you're not well physically. Exercise is sadly a must as is a healthy diet. Not that I heed that bit of advice myself lol

I'm still going through burnout myself, sadly that type of mental exhaustion takes a long time to heal.

All I can suggest is take a break from art. Social media makes us believe that we have to create every day but that's not true. Do other things, other hobbies.

If that seems weirdly specific it's because that's what I used to do when I was younger. I was a loner as a kid, I made my own fun outside. Sometimes I'd just take a nap on a tree. There was one tree where the roots created a sort of cradle / bed of sorts. It was cozy as hell... I miss it.

I crave to sit on the roots of a big ass tree in the middle of a forest. Secluded, alone, quiet. For about an hour. No phone, no internet, just birds and insects to keep me company. Ideally with a gentle breeze blowing.
I can't tell if Im getting old or if I'm just tired of all the stress lately lol

If you look up furry, MLP, art etc on Reddit you can see the subreddits that exist that relate to that kind of stuff. It also shows which subreddits have the most people subscribed to them so post to the ones with the most people on em!

And yeah, always read rules beforehand just in case! XD

I suggest posting to websites like Reddit and art-related discord servers as well as drawing popular characters to get people's attention. Some tend to stick around for just the style itself - the rest you may lose once you stop drawing what they originally came for but that's inevitable.

It may be a mix of algorithm issues and the economy honestly. There are less people with expendable incomes lately and X's algorithm (if you still use it) prioritises ragebait. As do some other platforms.

Lost in the dungeon 🐙

The illustration depicts two naked, female anthropomorphic characters being held up by disembodied, pink tentacles. The bottom left as well as the top right corners show a more detailed view of their respective behinds being spread open by the pink appendages, implying an imminent penetration. I don't think so no - the idea is that only those with verified purchases can leave a review. That way artists can't get review bombed unfairly!

I'd be excited about the bigger portfolio too if mine didn't consist of mostly nsfw illustrations - which get blurred. xD To unblur them you have to click individual pictures which is a bit frustrating. My own gallery will therefore stick around: hiccysfw.crd.co
