Yes. Often they're trying hard at doing the things "opinion columnists" have recommended; and still getting rejected.

That leads them to believe (uncritically) that the problems are solely external to themselves/their choices and even intrinsic.

From what I recall, the build he had was only a few months pre-release (or pre-announcement). The pre-write he's referring to is from earlier and before the story and tone was heavily changed.

As a 'may as well give Klasnić more of a chance' stan of the time, that he actually came on and scored in ET to surely make what happened beforehand irrelevant only for [redacted] to somehow then happen was ridiculous.

(probably shouldn't even mention it, sorry.)

(Yes, disclaimer of some merciful change to this coming in that late 2022-some of 2023 partial turnaround under Gustavsson and Fjellstrom when Kerr and Foord were playing as a really neat standard front two.)

It's a nice change to the 'in Kerr the last-line goalscorer we trust and simplistically revolve around' approach of most of the previous *checks notes* several years under multiple other coaches. #AUSvNSL bsky.app/profile/joey...
Expanded on this in the Guardian live blog.

Thought that may have been a bit of a foul in the follow through from Raso there #AUSvNZL

It's suited me btw that this game is as late as it is as I was only ready to watch it 10 minutes before it started... But I'd be much more understanding of it being a 7-something local kick-off instead on a Tuesday night with school holidays still yet to fully start than I am for freaking weekends.

Throw in this game finishing after midnight in NZ as well... It's utterly backwards.

It's always been weird to my Australian self (who isn't at all used to uni sport being such a huge thing), in the sort of way that some non-sports people think sports is a silly and infantile waste of time and money. And I've always assumed I'm missing something. Now I don't second guess so much.
