He/him
Sure, but it wouldn’t remove him, and surely that would be what is truly needed. That was my point. Apologies for the lack of clarity

And as usual I forgot one. Put ROTJ after rogue one. Emperor's scenes add a sense of menace and weight that the rest of the film regrettably lacks. First time SW really started repeating itself, a problem that has remained a pervasive issue.

TFA=bright performances by the new cast, strong performances by the old cast. Shame about the writing.
Solo=a total dud with only John Powell's score being a bright spot
TROS=A total disaster on practically every conceivable level. Only JJ Abram's sense of visuals offers anything redeeming.

AOTC=a film with an unresolved plot and filled with unconvincing dialogue, but the themes are interesting and Hayden Christensen is actually quite good in his nonverbal scenes
TPM=The most forgettable SW film
TLJ=Some good ideas that never coalesce into anything satisfying

So many contenders. For me, Andrew Johnson would also be a primate candidate.

Though intriguingly one could argue the alternative. Dalton seems to feel personal loss extremely heavily. Moore just shrugs it off, and can be quite glib when he inflects cruelty on other, “what a helpful chap.”

Also The wizard of oz is a fairy tale. Frank L Baum called it a "modernized fairy tale." Therefore, it only makes sense that, like fairy tales, it would go through constant reinterpretations.
