I've often pondered whether the concept of middle class is easily confused with regional variations. I mean dinner probably sounds posher than tea...

My children love swimming. One of my proudest achievements 🤣

Ooh I meant to ask if there was any update on an online game for youngsters? And what books etc can I get my 11yo for Christmas as she's keen to know more and try being master! (I know nothing)

Exactly that. We like to donate to others but it can be hard to wrest them away!

I totally get this. Being injured and unable to do the physical thing I need to do is awful.

Did this with 'red herring' once

For a long time I favoured a metal strap with a magnetic clasp - you can 'clip and unclip' as much as you like. Also looked smarter. I use a fitnit but mostly because I prefer something as small as possible but a lot of the Garmin options look much more like 'proper' watches.

Just stick with it! After various injuries and life I am much slower than I used to be. But faster than a couch.

My experience was that I only got faster once I started running further...

People would have to save up to pay the tax bill annually and most wouldn't?

I did. And I'm an education research and evaluation specialist. Bonus is I still get to do some events and focus groups etc with young people.

We had a live band 🙂 no regrets.

Have had a similar conversation today.

Absolutely.

I suspect I want a wide interpretation of 'current way of doing things' because it feels as though there are a whole lot of things that need to change before we think we can drop all the labels.

Caramel cornflake brownie for me please. I'm almost tempted to try and make some!

The message being pushed is that of 'overdiagnosis' which definitely isn't helpful without proper interrogation which I think the piece does try to do.

Listening to lots of parents I think there are a lot of schools who won't offer support without an ehcp. I found it a difficult read. There were elements I agreed with and others I didn't. I need to ponder more.

Agreed. When observing lessons I always tried to sit with students (if there was space - often there wasn't). Even just experiencing plastic chairs on a hot day was distracting...
