A small primer on the #NobelPrize awarded to Mary E. Brunkow, Fred Ramsdell and Shimon Sakaguchi today. This prize was for combining two separate fields of immunology research - genetic research on IPEX and immunology research of regulatory T cells (#Tregs), with enormous impact on biology/medicine

New paper in @plos.org Sus Trans: mangrove restoration increases C storage, but where that C comes from is different... likely because restored mangroves have altered ecological functioning. And old-forests are stable C stores

It was a pleasure to lead the Umeå Marine Sciences Centre (#UMF) Autumn Writing Retreat last week!
