I can't help but think about that Producers parody "Trumped" which went from "funny bc it's true" when no one thought he could win the first time to "tragic bc it's true," esp when it was way worse this time but somehow ppl forgot last time & again didn't believe

I literally wrote a play about 2016 being traumatic af, & one of the lines at the beginning of the election night scene is: "who'd have thought it would stop being funny?"
