While we are not comfortable sharing our production methods, we would like to clarify that we do not paint our toys post-cure as that runs a fair degree of risk of delamination. We only work with liquid, uncured silicone.

Yes, the firmer skin does make the texture less flexible, which can make the textures feel more pronounced than if they were softer! The softer insides mainly impacts the overall flexibility and compressabilty of the item.

I'm sorry, I'm not quite sure what your question is!
Do you mean the tackiness that softer firmnesses have? If so, having a firmer outer skin does make the outer portion of the toy have a texture more similar to the firmer silicone!
