What I find particularly galling about the whole Girl Guides/WI stuff is that if you go on Twitter (I know, urgh) the GC crowd just aren’t happy that they’ve won this rigged fight, they’re acting like it’s not enough, mocking ppl instead. I have been productive today so far, I’ve been to the shop, cleared out my fridge in readiness for Christmas, I’ve had a shower and made some pickled cucumbers! Gonna roast a chicken later, watch Villa v Wolves and have a go at printing my Haus Of Holly Christmas cards!

Listening to Rufus Wainwright sing is always a rarefied pleasure and although I adore his songwriting, I love hearing him interpret older songs, often live, as he’s doing here with these Weill jazz standards, and as he did previously when recreating a Julie Garland show. Both are a real treat!

Birmingham City Football Club have announced their plans for a new stadium and it’s hilariously shit, which is very fitting for them. Supposed to pay homage to the city’s brick making heritage, yet the streets are already calling it Dildo Park. Very amused by how awful this looks!
