White text on grey background reads: I can't believe I'm writing this. With the heaviest of hearts, I've paused shipping to the US due to the $800 de minimis rule being eliminated on 29 August. Going forward, all imported goods will face full customs and import duties; until we know what this looks like in practical terms, I need to protect our customers.

As a transatlantic team, and especially as a small business owner, this breaks our hearts. Though individuals in power are determined to divide, we're so grateful to be part of our Undead Community — and the wider horror community — and want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us. We're sending you all, especially our US customers, so much love.

We'll continue to monitor the situation, and hopefully we'll be able to open this channel sooner rather than later. Especially as a new collection has just launched, and our next book release is around the corner.

There's so much going on in the world right now. Take care of yourselves, and each other.

And please continue to support small businesses. Times are tough, but a like, comment, and share can make all the difference.

Overview of Filtered Reality (text: Filtered Reality is our love letter to found footage horror. Featuring a foreword from Stephen Volk (Ghostwatch) and an introduction from Aislínn Clarke (The Devil’s Doorway), the book's sixteen chapters are divided into two sections — Progenitors and Evolution — to chart the genesis of the contemporary found footage horror film. The first section includes influences such as epistolary Victorian horror novels (Dracula), radio hoaxes (The War of the Worlds), and the mondo film (Cannibal Holocaust), before the second explores subjects ranging from digital folklore (The Blair Witch Project), to video games (Resident Evil), to post-cinematic horror (Host) — and what lies beyond… Our collectible first-edition paperbacks include a themed, numbered bookplate and a reversible bookmark).
