I agree with this 100%. Never were the Muppets in better hands than when Jim Henson was directing. The songs are charming, the cinematography is well-suited to the puppets themselves, (something today's Muppet movies are often not), and "Steppin' Out With a Star" is ridiculously well-blocked.
