TTG has been running since 2013. it prints money. and CN/WB doesn't want to give its predecessor a chance again, because that doesn't sell as well as cyborg and beast boy making fart jokes.

they can watch teen titans go instead and never ever experience semi-serious storytelling where we feel for the characters we've grown alongside.

genuinely, some of the people here who are early 20s didn't know that TTG was based off of something else. they just thought it was always its own thing.

this is why bluey is so popular and still going strong. there is nothing else. they will not invest in new, interesting cartoons or stories, they will not let kids explore worlds that can veer into being semi-serious, they won't even let them see themselves in cartoons without shame for it.
