But then Tamashika drops a 15-second gameplay clip on Twitter, goes viral, and reminds us all… yeah, that site still kinda works. Just not in any way you can predict. 1/2 🧵

So stupid it's good :D
This comic humorously combines two iconic video game franchises. The character resembling Mario offers Link (from The Legend of Zelda) a “power-up mushroom.” After consuming it, Link transforms into a glowing blue version, labeled “Hyperlink,” referencing both his upgraded state and a clever pun on web hyperlinks. In the final panels they finish with a high-five, and Link turns purple highlighting the fact that he has been "clicked on". Their faces turn from joy to mild confusion.

This is very neat to me, just to kinda help me remember just how much the difference actually is.
The image contains a comparison of the magnitude of a billion versus a million, framed using time measurements. It does this with various time units: • 1 million seconds = about 12 days • 1 billion seconds = about 32 years • 1 million minutes ago was approximately 2 years ago • 1 billion minutes ago was the year 114 AD • 1 million hours ago was the dawn of the 20th century (1901) • 1 billion hours ago was around the time the first modern humans walked (141,000 years ago) • 1 million days ago was around 700 BC • 1 billion days ago was 2.7 million years ago.
