We're 2 devs working on a #platformer about a little girl that goes on an adventure to catch fireflies for her village festival.
For this year's journey she made herself a hair glider and well...

We're working on a "dialogue only" map for our game. In this map we write and stage all our dialogues without the actual gameplay. This way we can get a good estimate of how much time you spend playing vs. talking to NPCs to find a good balance.

And now we have bubble gates to pick the bubbles up and we can tell any object to be a bubble burster (the waterlillies in this quick test).
Still lots of VFX missing but we're working on it💪

Our programmer urged me to show you all a slightly less funny version of our bubble.
Still a WIP but it's already pretty fun to get to walk on the water for a while and watch the fishies swim.

I think I can say that the mouth animation of Norbert is without a doubt my best work so far. I don't know if I'll ever be able to top that.

Also I'm sorry for the animation he does if you don't feed him in time. I didn't mean to make it that heart breaking.😭

When you're not at the fish food station Norbert just likes to roam around in the water and you can follow and observe him a bit if you want to.

Well I mean.. he's IN the water with his friends now and he automatically approaches the fish food station when you activate it.
I'd say it's done, no?

A little wip of our fish food canon. We're currently keeping it secret and hid it in our snow test level so Norbert won't swallow it while we're still setting it up!
