Given Katie's character, I can still believe that she wouldn't remember they met before in person given her... mannerisms, to put it lightly. Especially given with her homophobia, she would want to forget she interacted with anyone she deems as such even when corrected.

And ironically appear to be the ones who demand perfectionism despite their claims for character growth.
