Blue matches the silk lining of the earpads and pouch.
Warm violet is my fave, but not repeated on the headphones.
Periwinkle is a lovely compromise, but then it *almost* matches the blue silk.

After a week of doing things for everyone else, I stood firm against my instincts and did embroidery for myself today. These bouillon stitches are more tedious than french knots! I was thinking of adding blue flowers that match the silk and opalite, but I keep wanting purple in my heart.

I may be broke, waiting forever to be fixed up enough to look for work, and struggling with self perception after late Audhd diagnosis, but good-got-daymn if I don't live in a fantastic castle and feel at home in it for the first time in my life.

I think I have to redo the #HandEmbroidery and everything, all because I had a tremor in my lymphy hand hard enough to shake the earpad while I was trimming the extra fabric.

Peri-M is apparently choosing violence this week with random manic panic attacks. (I see it.) I couldn't even play an Rpg to shut down because I picked up my phone @ every load screen. Plugged in Focus Friend for 20m and got a lot more put together than expected. Thank you @hankgreen.bsky.social!

I need to sew an oval into two layers of silk. The oval will be cut after and used as the earpiece cover on my embroidered headphones. I want the double layer to reinforce the silk edge, but I keep getting boobs! How do I make this stay flat?

All the pieces for my first home assembled zipper have arrived. I broke down and used etsy even though they treat sellers like crap because idk how else to find these things in less than industrial gross amounts otherwise.

I'm blue af, and I'm pissed at my neighbors because I voted FOR their interests even though they voted against my rights. That said, a ton are seeing the light and we need to have the patience to teach them how the light is good.

Tonight is the last warm night before the first cold snap. The moon is huge and yellow, my window are open and candles lit, and I finished four #HandEmbroidery jewelry sets. It feels so nice to have another project completed. Tomorrow, I do more experiments with the silk for my headphones!

Did you find a lap craft? I've been thinking about sending you an embroidery kit, either pre-made or just stuff in a box and a link to my pinterest board where I get all my stitches. I mean, you can do this!

Did I mention that I'm building a custom zipper for my #HandEmbroidery project? Bought the blue and bronze zipper tape to match the opalite silk, a skull zipper stop, and a Hamlet skull zipper pull. I've not built a zipper before, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. I always do.
