I really want to create a nonprofit for indie artists of all kinds that focuses on marketing and branding. Part of the reason I got into design was promoting my own band and art shows. You all deserve a fair shot at sales.

Do you have a good marketing and graphic design team? One of the things we learned in design school was how much of the book industry is excellent advertising, design, and placement.

Yeah, and as soon as I wrote that, I got word that my 4th friend with cancer passed last night. So I have been making myself remember something really excellent about each of them every time grief reminds me he's here. It helps.
