The face of Hugo the miniature schnauzer looking up to the camera. He’s in the bath after a particularly adventure filled wet walk. Put on the long lead twice after chasing after deer and trying to tell some ponies to clear out of ‘his’ Forest, jumping into streams when he smelt the deer and wading through a lot of mud trying to, well who knows. Despite the naughtiness, Hugo had an amazing time. Sadly a bath beckoned when he got home, much to his disgust. He’s had a breakfast of champions now, kibble, croissant crumbs, a little cheese and 2 sprats. A pretty epic start to the day. Now resting on the big bed with his Big Dog.

Hugo, the black and silver miniature schnauzer is just back from the groomers. He is sat down on a grey tiled floor, slightly side on to the camera. He is so conflicted when he goes to the groomer because he loves his groomer, really loves her, but he knows it means a bath. Once the bath is done though he seems to enjoy it, sometimes even falling asleep. When he manages to stay awake he is fed treats and gets made a fuss of. Hugo is hand stripped, not shaved, so he is always a little more shaggy in appearance than many schnauzers. It should be noted that within 30 seconds of leaving the grooming table, Hugo always manages to mess up his beard.

That’s right, I AM the intrepid hunter! The great hunter of the New Forest! This pond was too good to resist a wee paddle, Tommy, but don’t worry, this is about as far in as I will go!

My hu-dad says this pic is even better for water action. 🐾🧡

Hugo is stood amongst some heather, his face looking up, fairly close to the camera.
