yup, 25% of players on retro achievements don't get past Solvaring, and you have to keep in mind that players using this site are usually hardcore retro nerds

Exactly. I think it leads people to wait out of a fear that they'll miss out. Even though probably 90% of people don't make it to the extra content, there's a fear that you're making a purchase you might regret 3 months later.

I feel like it has become a really well-known thing, similar to how Ubisoft will soon put their games on discount. Atlus and Ubisoft have to rethink how they release their games.

Internet in general does feel more toxic than I remember it being, and those with toxic attitudes are emboldened. I just try my best to create as wholesome of a community as I can, and maybe I'll work on actively producing more videos that help combat those types in my comment sections.

I don't doubt that happens, unfortunately. Since I cover a lot of retro games, there is a crowd that sometimes will come into my videos and use my video to validate their feelings that games nowadays suck and are "too woke", even though I don't feel that way at all, nor do I imply that. The...
