*Actually leavened with a combo of starter and commercial yeast as my current starter's a bit young and I wanted a safety net for holiday cooking, putting this out there because the internet sourdough police are real and I don't want a stolen-valor situation

Not to mention "_____ is secretly a Christmas movie" season

The smugness of throwing out an absurd hot take and following up with "this is not debatable"

The most obnoxious part to me of the tweet being referenced is its use of the "asserting a subjective opinion as objective fact" mode of internet hyperbole, which I truly wish would die a painful death

Also on the baking side I've found King Arthur has become a pretty great trustworthy resource (at least if you take any "specialty thing we just happen sell" ingredient/tool recommendation with a grain of salt, fortunately they're usually good with offering substitutions)

Or even just look at several different recipes for the same dish, see where they generally agree or disagree, and go with one close to the consensus/avoid ones that are way out in the weeds

Nah, "pants guy" risks confusion with the guy who draws the shaky line drawings of weird little bald men being cozy and relatable

So many un-self-aware "see, this is the future of customer service!" posts from minor internet celebs getting special squeaky-wheel treatment because the company knew they'd look bad in front of too many people if they didn't
