Sleep Token fans have not been obnoxious enough about how insanely good this album is. Did I finally listen to it today after seeing it in people's wrapped? Yes.
Take a note from us Paramore/Hayley Williams stans and force all of your friends to listen to this album against their will

Watching the Bucks be up by 30 with the return of KPJ and Giannis is cathartic. These last couple of weeks have been brutal

If you are needing to shop for family members, this is a great Christmas gift! I just bought a copy for a gift!
There's been a lot going in this week, but i did have time to real "When the Cranes Fly South" by Lisa Ridzen
This book is brilliant. The way Ridzen uses the perspective of Bo with the notes from caregivers is brilliant. You truly feel for Bo while understanding his son's position.

Best thing to come out of Covid was the death of Black Friday. That shit was getting out of hand to the point people were calling Thanksgiving "Grey Thursday"

Amazon announced 14,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $40M last year. UPS announced 48,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $24M last year. Intel announced 20,000 layoffs. Its new CEO's pay package is valued at nearly $69M. This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.

Negatives of being important at work- responsibilities, people always asking questions, being underpaid

Positives- I got to hold several millions of dollars worth of violins yesterday. So that was neat

I accidentally became important at work and now Im stuck being miserable at a convention.

Wrapped up "The Hounding" by Xenobe Purvis. I generally liked the prose and the overall theme of this book. My biggest issue is the lack of POV focus. I think if the book focused on 3 characters instead of the 5-6 it did, it would be a much better book.

Forgot to post an update!
I finished the (sadly) final Shady Hollow book a couple of days ago. This was everything i love about the series. Cozy mystery with lovable characters.
These books aren't the most amazing pieces of literature, but if you're looking for a fun read, give it a shot!

Up next is the final Shayldy Hollow book "Mockingbird Court"
If you haven't read this whimsical little forest mystery series, please give it a shot!
