My speciality is the origin of ship names, and my original speciality is ancient Japanese literature.
I am also familiar with naval history, etc., but I am not a specialist.

This essay, "Battlefield Strategies in Early Modern Japan," is in Japanese, but I think it's worth translating and reading (my personal opinion).
The section on "tactics from the late Heian period to the Kamakura period" refers to the period highlighted by Friday.

This was apparently because the Japanese Navy predicted that the US Navy would not be building battlecruisers (or fast battleships) for the time being, and so decided to prioritize artillery for the capital ships it built.

Olin kerran sairaalassa keuhkosyövän vuoksi, mutta sieltä näin kauniin meren ja purjelaivat Nippon Maru ja Kaiwo Maru olivat juuri saapumassa satamaan. Ruoan lisäksi minusta tuntui kuin olisin yöpynyt ensiluokkaisessa hotellissa.

In South America, it is common for people to have two first names and two surnames (paternal and maternal surnames), as in the case of Juan Manuel Fangio Déramo and Sergio Michel Pérez Mendoza, but in this case, could it be that he has been given too many?
